12 Apr Herbicide Safety
Farm safety needs to be at the forefront of all agriculture tasks. Working on a farm can come with a range of hazards that are rarely seen in other industries.
Lone working around high risk machinery, performing high risk tasks and in often harsh environments are just a small part of it.

Tractor work doesn’t protect workers from inhaling toxic substances, which can also be carried in the air to neighbouring properties
Exposure to hazardous chemicals can turn nasty, very quickly.
In some cases exposure to hazardous substances may require workers to participate in a formal health surveillance program.
