06 Jul What is ISO 45001?

In March 2018 the International Standards Organisation (ISO) released ISO 45001 – their certified Occupational Health & Safety management system.

This replaces the current OHS management system, BS OHSAS18001:2001 in March 2021 and will impact on how we manage work health and safety.

Current BS OHSAS 18001 and AS4801 certificates remains valid until their expiry, however most certificate holders are already preparing to transition to the ISO 45001 standard.
